Mrs. Augusta Gaynor - Biographies on Stage

After marriage and her first child, Christine was offered a role that would change her life... a wonderful opportunity to begin a new program at Deepwells Farm, an historic home in St. James, Long Island, New York and portray Augusta Gaynor, the wife of the former Mayor of New York, William J. Gaynor.

Conceived by Christine's good friend, Sal St. George, the program became known as "Biographies on Stage" and was set in the parlor of the home. Other actors and actresses portrayed famous people from the era (1905-1919) and were Mrs. Gaynor's guests for tea.

After a successful run of seven years as Mrs. Gaynor, Christine decided to retire the role and pursue other projects. She recorded her first CD, "Selections from Mrs. Gaynor's Holiday Social as sung by Christine Jordan". Click here to preview and purchase the CD.
