"At Home with Ella Fitzgerald" Spring/Summer 2005 at the Ward Melville Educational and Cultural Center, Stony Brook NY Christine was back by popular demand as the hostess with the mostest, Miss Faye Emerson (the woman who put the "V" in TV) along with her spirited domestic, Violet (Lois Goelz) as they welcomed Miss Ella Fitzgerald (the amazing Carolyn Brown). This time we met through voice-over only, Faye's director, Larry as they broadcast Miss Emerson's TV show "live" from her living room. Faye and Ella sang popular songs of the day such as "Music, Music, Music", "Almost Like Being In Love", "I Got Rhythm", "This Could Be The Start of Something Big", "A Tisket, A Tasket", "Summertime", "They Can't Take That Away From Me", and "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off". |
