"At Home with Audrey Hepburn"
During spring and summer 2004, Christine portrayed the character of popular television personality, Faye Emerson, in
"At Home with Audrey Hepburn".
Christine was thrilled to be back at the Ward Melville Educational and
Cultural Center, Stony Brook, as the "hostess with the mostess"; Miss Faye Emerson. Faye
Emerson was a popular television personality with her own television show in
the 1950's. Known for her marriages to Elliot Roosevelt and Skitch
Henderson as well as her low-cut dresses (she put the "V" in TV), Faye was a
perfect fit for Christine's energy and charisma on-stage. Christine
reprised the role for the holidays when Faye Emerson welcomed Doris Day
to her home.
Set in 1964 in her home, Faye Emerson was
joined by her special guest, the beloved star of My Fair Lady, Gigi, Roman
Holiday, Wait Until Dark and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey has just
finished starring in My Fair Lady and
discusses her remarkable life as a motion picture icon and her humanitarian
efforts on behalf of the needy children of the world. The performance
included songs from Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady and more!
